Budget Maintenance by G/L Account
For users with a Financial Management State Reporting License Key installed, Budget Maintenance by G/L Account appears as a menu option under Annual Budget Processing instead of Budget Maintenance.
Displaying Budget Accounts
- Enter relevant information pertaining to the account you are looking for in the displayed fields and click Search. The Summary sub-section will appear and information on accounts will be populated in the grid
- Click the Summarization Level drop-down to change between Account and Classification summary views.

Various buttons are located at the bottom of the grid:
Save - click to save modifications made to the account.
Delete - click to remove the account selected from budget processing for the fiscal year. A pop-up will appear asking to confirm the deletion of the account.
Reset- clicking this button will revert information to the last save. It does not simply clear the data.
Print - clicking this button will take you to the Dynamic Budget Worksheet where you can print account information.
Spread - opens the Account Spread page.
Transactions - select an account and click this button for more detailed information on the account.
Previous - opens the Previous Level screen.
Inquiry - opens G/L Account Inquiry
History - opens the Budget History graph in a pop-up window.
Five Year Trend - opens the 5 Year Trend Analysis by Account graph in a pop-up window.
Add Accounts - opens the Add Budget Accounts pop-up window.
Import - clicking this button will take you to the Import Budget page.
Note: Clicking the gold Summary bar will alternately show/hide the information in this section making the grid and its buttons more accessible without scrolling.
Customizing Grid Information & Columns
- Clicking on the
icon located next to Selected Columns will open the Budget Maintenance Grid Configuration screen. Here you can select various check boxes and up to three informational columns to be displayed in the grid.
- Click Save or Reset to return to the main page.
